I'm attempting to restore a 45 B that has been setting for about 15 years. My latest problem is fuel lines that are plugged with a sticky, black substance. I have cleaned as far as I can reach with a small drill, but can't get around the curves. Any one know how to cut thru this gunk? Thanks in advance.

I assume you've got the fuel line off the tractor. Use a vicegrips to hold the fuel line and then heat the line with a small household propane torch. The black gunk will flow right out. Be careful not to get the line too hot and loosen the fittings at either end. Good luck..... ...
