After disassembling the power steering unit on my 730 I see that on the middle piece where the sides of the vanes rub againts has a wear mark where each vanes stops. One side appears and feels worse than the other side. Is it possible to rotate that middle piece one bolt hole or more in either direction so that the vanes don't rub againts the worse wear mark. Any information is greatly appreciated. In advance THANKS, Adam

I've fixed a lot of them and I believe if you will put new seals on the vanes you shouldn't have any problem. I don't think I would try the rotation....you might take some fine embry cloth and dress the inside up some but the rubber sealer should take up the clearances...
