I just bought a 70D and have ordered manuals. While I'm waiting, can anyone tell me if the (missing) battery should be 6 or 12 volt, pos or neg ground?
Also I need a source for pony motor coil$...
thanks.

Charles your 70D needs a 6v postive grounded battery. As for a source for coils some of the advertisers on this site should be able to help you. Have fun.

I too have a deere 70, minus the pony motor.

Is that + battery terminal to chassis ground? Don't want to make a mistake here...

Which way (viewed from the pony motor front) does the crankshaft rotate?
Thanks in advance
Bryan
