I am looking at a basket case B, someone started to take it apart and stopped. The tractor had set outside for 20 years and sat in a barn for 3years torn apart. He had gotten new pistons but they are rusty from sitting in the barn. He has extra rods, a head, fairly good hood and tank. One of the crank rod journals has some surface rust, I think it can be polished.Extra set of brake assemblies, the originals were rusted on and the couldnt pull the thing until they took them off. The only good thing is it is all there, the wheel are thin and rusty but still there. I think it is probibly worth scrap price $200 ? What do you guys think? Also are the rod bearings poured babbit? If so can they be converted to shell type? Thanks for any info,JM.

The cheaper you get it the better. It should have babbit rods don't know if you can get inserts for those ? you are better off with babbit anyhow on a less then perfect crankshaft.
