What does a #44 trip plow weigh approximately?
Can 2 men manhandle one into a 1/2 top pickup box?

I always backed the pickup into a shallow ditch to load a plow. Not a bad job then, did it many times. Good luck, and safety first.

blocks, ropes, planks and other safety riggings will be needed to provide safety will it is in the air.

Take the tailgate off before you do anything with it.

Get the rear of the plow into the truck first, and then go from there.

I would estimate the weight around 500#. It will fit in a 1/2 ton pickup. You will need 3 ramps to roll it up on. Be careful and dont let it get away from you.

I should think that is something you can do. Taking a come-along and some chain plus a means of anchoring to the forward end of the truck's stake holes may be helpful along with some planking, and hope for a handy ditch! (PatB)
