Purchased a JD 4030 which had a dash electrical fire. Sure would like to fine a technical manual for it. Anyone out there have one they would sell? Thank you.

You might watch eBay. Back in 1983, I bought a 4440 that had had a cab fire, and I rebuilt it. If I had not had the complete parts and technical manuals from JD, it would have been a heckuva chore to sort out.

Thanks guys. I know I will need the tech manual to rewire as all the insulation is burnt off. Thanks again.

The tech manual is available in CD-ROM form from Deere Publications for $60. That's not too bad, and you can print out the pages as you need them. Not sure if you can beat that if you wait and look for a used one or not. It should have the colorized electrical and hydraulic schematics as well. It's called TM1055CD, and the paper version is $115, TM1055.
