Is there much of a demand for parts off of a JD 70 gas with factory powersteering, how about the entire tractor? I bought it a few years back and it was stuck and I have ran out of room for it and I need to decide which route I should go. Its all there but needs some work. Maybe some one needs out there needs a project. Where would a guy start for a price?

Thanks

If she also has live pto it's a keeper. Sounds too good to scrap. Have you pulled the flywheel cover and checked the splines.

The best place to advertise it is on this site under the photo ads. List all information with picture, body condition, how complete it is, how the tires are, serial number, etc.

What kind of shape is it in? Where are you located?

Thanks

The tin work is pretty straight except for the normal grill screens in the nose. I think with some work in the governer and a rebuilt carb would solve most. A good hone job and some new rings I would think it would run POSSIABLY. I have all of the brakes, starter, distributor, and most of the misc items off of it now. Needs new tires if you were to fix it up. I am located in South West Iowa A town called Shelby.

Is it other wise intact, complete and not smashed up? Tires, rust, sun damage?
What options? Does it still have the fenders, clutch cover & pto shield?

It is not all smashed up new grill screens and a bit of work on the front end and it would look pretty good. It still has what I beleive is the original paint on it. Not much left on the tires but they did hold air last I checked. As far as rust Its an old tractor but nothing extreme. As far as options its basicly a straight 70. It has factory powersteering and a roll-a-matic no fenders no PTO sheild but has a clutch cover.
