The seat back on my tractor doesn't look like the one I see in the parts book or in online stores. It (the metal back), is not just a piece of curved flat plate, but one with about a 1/2" lip bent toward the rear that the fabric is rivited to. Is this the original or did it maybe come off another model? Also, why do these seat backs have eight mounting studs while the tractor only has four? Thanks.

Leland has sold out to Cory Anderson, 320 225-0124. He still goes by The Seat Man, & I can recommend his products.

EdM. Sounds like you have an original or one close to original. The reason for number of mounting holes is that the backs will fit A,B,G and 50 thru 830 seat frames. There are backs being reproduced that are very close to originals today and are available in black or yellow.

Mine came from Leland Schwantz (seat man Green mag.)and is just like the original that was on my '50 B. It does have a slight "dishing" around the edge but only has 4 bolts like original. If yours has 8 then I don't think it is original or even correct aftermarket.
