Have you added the pyrometer before dialing up the fuel? If the rad clean, fan belts new and the pulleys still true and square. Heat is going to be the problem. Are you using Deere"s synthetic oil? The amount of fuel burned per HP is going to increase. Do know what the tractor is dynoing right now? It may have already been "turned up". There maybe mechanical problems that are limiting power, turning up the pump would not be the solution.

I'm in southern MN.

Get it dyno'd see where she's at now for HP, then make a decision, you can easily take a 4320 to 150 horse and have no problems. I've had 2 the first ran at a 160 all day long no problem, this one runs at a 155 with no problems. They dont burn that much more fuel about 7.5-8 gallon a hour working hard about 6 on my 8 row planter. make sure your pump, injectors and turbo are all in good shape and keep the radiator clean and you'll be just fine. The biggest problem you'll have is traction, if you add 2-4 rear wheel weights per side and run duals that cures that.

You have to remove the top-cover, then reach in with an allen-wrench and turn the head-screw clockwise. With some newer pumps - that have a triangle-shaped timing window - instead of a rectangle - you can reach in there to do it instead.

Are you talking about the top plate that is the electronic shut-off?
Any idea how much to turn it to add 25 horse?

thanks
