algar what type of cylinder head is used to convert a JD diesel to a gas engine? What is advantage of converting a pulling engine from diesel to gas? Just wondering from watching pullers on RFDTV. Jim

You can bolt a gas head on a Diesel bottom to take advantage of the stout 7 mains when you turn 4k tp 6500k rpm. Or put spark plugs in a diesel head or a natural gas head.
The class is a non-turbo,and a gas will usually run stronger than a non T diesel. It's a less expensive class[yeah right]thantrying to keep up with$$ of turbos,Inj pumps etc...

I run a 4010 and want to get lighter but would like to know the best small block deere to use
