I am restoring A styled d ser #166125. Will either #16 or #63 work interchangebly? If not how much modification is needed? Thanks

JJ, according to the carburetor chart, 128111-161644 used the DLTX-16 and 161645 and up used the DLTX-63. Snowing and blowing here today, guess six more weeks of winter is right. Hope this helps, Ron

jubilee johnny,
They will interchange. Your D came with a DLTX63. They do have different economizer plugs which could affect operation at intermediate rpm, and they could have different nozzles - the 63 has a nozzle with a small standpipe on the side - the 16 may or may not have this style.

Thanks for the help. I have a donor tractor with a Dltx 16 on it and the serial # is only about one hundred higher than mine. The carb is not that good of shape so I am looking for a totally different one. The carb on my restoration tractor was missing when I got it.
