I found a couple of clamshell fenders for my 47b for $50.00. Like a #45 loader, they didn't come with brackets. And, I needed the $100.00 I would have spent on them for fuel in my truck. So, I found some quarter inch x two inch strapping, cut it in twelve inch lengths, welded two together to make it half inch, cut bolt holes, and put them on. The finishing touches were to heat the bracket and bend the fenders straight. At least now my tractor is safer when my 5 year old rides with me. I know most of you out there do this kind of stuff every day, but for me it was gratifying to make my own brackets.
