Not being familiar w/JD tractors,I am confused. Two friends have JD 2010s,however one seems to set taller and therefore be a bigger tractor.Tire/wheel sizes seem the same on both.As the tractors are about 40 mi apart and I never see both at same time its hard to directly compare the two. Were there factory differences in steering "leg" and rear axle/height,rear axle gear casings or such? These are both wide front gas engine models. Thanx in adv for any info

In the sales lierature, the 2010 was called a "fleet" due to the many different configurations. They have been called many more unkind things since...

The 2010 Row Crop stood about 6" taller, and 12" wider than the Row Crop Utility version, although the RCU outweighed the RC by several hundred pounds. The fenders of the two are probably different, and the wheels of the RC were originally 36", compared to the 28 inch rear wheels of the RCU.

My mother as an orchard version with 26 in wheels on the back. 13.5x26 to be exact. It is a gas version. My uncle has the tall deisel version, better for baling hay. Have a nice day.
