I have a 44 B all fuel that I run on gas only any more. The tractor has the original carb on it. Is there any thing I can do to or change on the carb to clean up the mixture for gas (main nozzle, restrict internal passages, etc...).

Thanks for any info...

Curt

I changed a 37 B DTLX10 over to the gas nozzle. With the all fuel it was way to rich. Like Clooney I can't tell you the number. I bet you could contact Robert's Carburator, he has site on web and get the right nozzle. Seems like I got mine from dealer. I never could get the overloading out of the carb with the all fuel nozzle.Adjusting would not properly calibrate.

Curt, there is a different economizer plug you can put in for gas, unfortunatly I can't find the number right now. If nobody else can furnish it I will reserch it this weekend and answer you. The best way to make it run better (in the summer) is to install a gas intake-exhaust manifold, if you can find one. You can probably run a little more spark advance also, maybe 1/4"-3/8", that should also help the starting.
