I just picked up a slant dash A. I can only make out the last couple of numbers on the s/n tag. Is there any way to narrow down what year it might be? Did they make subtle changes to anything through the production years that may narrow it down?
The tractor runs pretty well, needs a good cleaning and tune up. It also has the live hydraulic pump between the gov and mag.
It had an after market 3pt but the seller wanted an extra 500 bucks so I left it with him.

Thanx

John

If you wanted a tractor with an identity, then you should have bought one with a legible tag.

I can hopefully narrow it down for you, but I probably won't narrow it down more than a few years.

Ready for questions?

Will

I was just curious as to the year, don't really need to know. I bought it because it was cheap and may re-sell it.
