Your problem with the super 69 may have been that the tine arm on the "flow action feeder" was not extending. It's made so that if the hay is real heavy, it extends, thus not moving the forks all the way into the bale chamber. This system works great but if the tine arm freezes up then it crams to much hay on the left side. If the inner spring is broken, I would think it would be heavy to the right side. Check the feeder tine arm to see if it moves any. Good luck, and sorry for this being so late.

Does that machine have the fork feed instead of auger and fork system? If it feeds with forks, only, there is an adjustment as to the throw of the forks, up where the arm attaches to the piston. Some experimentation with adjustment may help. My NH 268 prefers fairly full windrows. Also helps if your bales are tightly packed. I have two sets of wedges on the sides of bale chamber which helps with tightness and packing. try craNKING the spring loaded plates above and below the bale chamber tighter too.
