I have recently converted the auxilary hydraulics on a 4240 from John Deere style to ISO with part # RE12121. At first there were no leaks but after one or two times of hooking up hoses oil started to leak out where the lock in handle is. I was very cautious with the new o-rings and oiled everything. I did this earlier on a 3020 and everyone has leaked the same place. Does anyone know how to stop these from leaking. In advance THANKS, Adam

Be sure the lock handle with the roll pin is right side up. The flat side goes down. If it is installed with the lock [lumps] down, oil pressure will force the shaft up far enough to come out of the Oring.

The hole in the bottom of the housing is the lowest point, so any Oring leaking in the housing will show up at the lock shaft.

I have had this problem and found there was a nick or scratch or inperfection on the lever shaft I replaced the levers and no more leaks. But did you put the backup ring away from the pressure? With the o-ring to the pressure or the inside?this is the correct way
