need help ID Model "A" top water jacket part # A4442R...the temp. sending unit goes in top of it not the rear..not in my styled or unstyled parts book...thanks..Kent

thanks Mike but I 've got [3] doner 60's & it doesn't look like those either...the temp. sending unit goes in the top not the rear like the [8] other styled & unstyled doners I have..can't even find this # in parts interchange manual,,,,Kent

Any chance it is for an open fanshaft A ? I forget what they use but it was something special and the numbers changed and may not even be in the parts books. Does it take a welded in pipe or have an o-ring for a slip in pipe ?

welded in pipe that is straight with no bend....none of my parts tractors or running tractors have one like this...730 ,720 ,530 ,[2]styled "A's",[1] unstyled "A", & a "60"...doubted my eye's so I went back & looked & it is # A4442R...thanks ...Kent

I got a chance to look in my 60 parts book and there it was ! A4442R used up to serial number 30926.

I was hopeing others would of came to the rescue that know the number of that pipe on those early A's. Keep asking something may turn up. I don't have any of my books here. I'll have to try to remember to check later on.
