I would take a test light first and make sure you got power from the battery to the starter. If good then check and make sure one wire on the key switch has power at all times. If good check wire from switch to the starter solenoid while someone turns the switch to the start position. If good its probably solenoid or starter motor if everything has power. Might also be the ground wire on battery. Also check connections on the starter and solenoid for looseness and sometimes Ive seen regulators cause problems. And it could be the key switch if solenoid wire gets no power(but would be rare). Thats all I know to do when I have a problem like that. Good Luck
