I have an opportunity to make an offer on a very neglected Model 1530 and don't have a clue what these tractors are worth. It is part of an estate equipment liquidation of a friend and I either want to make a fair offer or help the family know its realistic value. I have looked at the tractor and to me it is in very rough condition. The hood is missing as is the right fender and foot rest. Left fender is rusty and bent. Lights are missing, and/or crushed. Wiring harness has many splices and un-terminated wire ends. Seat is rotten. PTO seal leaks badly. Front tires are for car or truck, not tractor. Engine hasn't run in the past year, or so I was told...could be longer. No hydraulics, pump doesn't work. Rear tires fair. No top link.

Weigh it and get a quote for what they're paying for scrap iron in your area, because it's worth about what it weighs in the condition you describe. 1530's were good tractors, but this thing would be an endless money pit.
