Don't have a parts book yet [sorry P. Browning] on 60 need part # for fuel head ...have a #4226 off late "A" trying to see if it will fit the 60...thanks ...Kent

Kent, if your 60 all-fuel has the single induction carburetor then the head you have is the right one. If you have a Duplex carburetor then you will need the appropriate head for it.

To address the "burn-out" problem: it seems every so often someone on here feels the need to answer each and every question that comes up, even if two or three others have done a good job of explaining things. These are extremely frustrating to me, whether I have answered a question or not. I can readily understand the "burning out" of others. There is often misinformation on this (and other) forums that frustrates as well. I try my very best not to be a "carrier" of such misinformation. I admit my mistakes when I make them. But I definitely understand how some could become frustrated and back away. Been there. Mike

Thanks Mike ; just to make clear I want to put late "A" head on 60 not the 60 on "A" intakes & carb can be changed ...as for the other comments I asked for it ...my fault ..remember I'm from MS & a redneck to boot...Kent

I MAY BE WRONG ? BUT AREN'T YOU THE FELLOW THAT HAD NO USE FOR PARTS BOOKS in previous posts ?

They put 60 heads on late A's so I would guess it should fit ?

I'm wondering if that's what happened to F-I-T and Clooney ???? Good chance they got burned out.

I know I have too much spare time on my hands and spend way too much time on here. But heck most of it I'm at work. Things are really slow here of late sometimes.

A late A will work, as to F-I-T i think he and Pat B got into it over a post about whether or not you needed a puller or a press to remove some part on a govener,i am not sure just what it was but it is too bad that some people think they are the only ones that know anything and their way of fixing something is the only way,i think F-I-T is a very sharp on these old tractors and i hope he comes back to help us out.
