I agree that a manual will be helpful!! In the meantime I'll tell you what I know and you will have to decide for yourself if it applies to you. My experience with those switches is that they are not thermostats at all, but rather they are potentiometers that control the level of flow through the heater core by opening and closing a valve (electronically). So the the potentiometer exerts different levels of resistance (if resistance could be exerted)to controll the motor that opens and closes the heater valve (like a fuel sender operates the guage). In my experience potentiometers they are farily forgiving of abuse. If you hook it up backwards it will either work or it wont. If it does not work then hook it up the other way. Some will even work regardless of how they are wired, as all it has to do is create various levels of reisitance in accordance with where the knob is turned. This is my experience with modern day climate control swithches in John Deere equipment. Yours may be all together different, as a 2355 could be up to almost 20 years old now (getting a little older). If in fact this does not apply to your application then you can say at least you learned something about climate control switches in modern equipment.
