I purchased Jorde decals for my 1956 John Deere 70 Diesel and really like them except it seems like the actual numbers (7 0 )seem to be twice the thickness or width as the original deere decal. Maybe I am just being picky, but I just wanted to see if anyone else noticed this. I am enthusiastic about the others in the kit though! All the other decals in the set are a perfect match!

70DLee, is the spaceing between the 7 and 0 to far apart, or maybe just father apart than what you remembered and it may be that your memory is like mine. Did your 70 have the original decals on it? Do you have another set to put them up against?

You are bringing your message to the wrong place. Pick up the phone -- call Travis Jorde right away! If you have the wrong one -- he will own up to it and make it right! (PatB)

I can offer nothing but paraise to Jorde decals. I just got my 1941 H from paint and it has Jorde decals on it and they are great! However, the guy that put them on screwed up the nose decal and I contacted them and they are sending me a new one free of charge. They sent me a replacement for a 49 M and it wasn't right, so I am sending it back and they are exchanging it. They have been more than accomodating!

The Jorde's are great people - they will make it right if it is the wrong decal.

Not trying to start something, but are you sure what was on your tractor was original? Mostly asking from personal experience, but I thought I had gotten shorted a few decals on my latest restoration...until I checked one of books - Jorde had everything right (someone had many wrong decals added onto the original paint)...

Years ago I bought my first set of JD 430 decals from jorde.I messed them up,not knowing for sure what i was doing.I called jorde,he talked me through it,told me to put a couple drops of dish washing liquid into a water bottle, and spray that on the hood before applying the decal. He
then sent me some new decals and wouldn't take any payment.

Here is what it looks like to me: The 7 on the decals from deere is pretty much skinny all the way down and does not have any arc to it as well as the 0. mine seems fat in the middle and even the 0 seems fat compared to the deere decals. The "diesel" decal and everything else was superb! I wish I had a pic of it with me to post. The tractor did have original deere decals on it when I got it. I will talk to him and see what the scoop is because I have heard so many good things about Jorde Decals. Thanx for the input of everyone, appreciated!!
