I have rebuilt my 2155 JD;s hydraulic system. Split the case , had a busted gear in the return pump. Now back together, the power steering is choppy/intermitten, and the lift does the same.
Can or is there any air in the hydraulic line? If so how do i bleed it. The main pump (behind the radiator) seems fine. Help.."

There is a filter releaf valve just above and on the side of the trans case,It takes I and 1/4 socket and remove the plug and fish out the valve and see if there is a peace of metal holding the valve a little open. I take it that your sump screen is clean,IF you have a 2 speed shift on the go does it seem alright? thats enough for now, keep asking if you don't find anything.
