The lever for the 3pt is tight. Is there a lock on it and were is it? The 3pt raises when I start the tractor but I can't move the lever. Thank you for your consideration. Dave and Mary Bowers

The cable is stuck at the pivot point where it hooks on to the rockshaft valve arm. Lack of use lets them rust up. Drill out the hole to next size should do it. If the cable is bent you will need to change it . Consult the service manual to adjust it.

I had the same problem, I just kept spraying the cable where it goes into the tube with P B Blaster and worked it back and forth until it worked freely.

I have had this problem on several deeres and the lever is seldom the cause. remove the coweling from over the dash, and the panel that contains the ign.sw. and light sw. on the left hand side you will see were the cabel connects.disconnect the cable and check the movement of the lever if it is loose then the cable is rusted inside and will have to be replaced.remove the cowel under the seat on the right hand side to get to the cable, and the platform will have to be removed also.

Your control cable is probably bound up,and stuck.
