Have 2020 with hyd oil getting into crankcase.
Has front mount pump for all hyd stuff
Where can this be getting in?
Is there a connection between steering valve and c"case?
Do not have manual yet.

Hope you have discovered by now the small hydraulic pump on the front engine cover. If not, pull the radiator and you will find it on the front cover of the engine. This is the only place on the tractor that hydraulic fluid can enter the crankcase.. You have a blown seal on the drive gear.

good luck

Thanks guys.
This tractor does not have the separate power steering pump on the front of the engine. Power steering oil comes from the common pump driven by the front of the engine crank and through a priority valve.
Is there any way oil could be leaking from the steering control valve into the engine?

Are you sure it is hydraulic oil? The fuel pump(gas or diesel engine) or injection pump can leak fuel into the crankcase.

Yes I believe it is oil rather than fuel.
No odour, not thin.
Level in trans. goes down, engine goes up.
