My brother in law just bought a 2030 with a 146 loader. The steering isn't working right. It will turn to the left all the way but when you turn it to the right it barely goes past straight. Anyone know what the problem might be? Also the hydraulic oil looks milky. When we change it and the filter should the system be flushed out? If so what should we use and how do we go about it? Thanks

Al the two main culprits for milky oil are bad/cracked gear shifter boots and clogged hyd oil reservoir breather. On steering problem the arm in clutch housing on steering valve may not be indexed correctly. Tx Jim

I use cheap oil and run the tractor for a few minutes then drain it and do it again, the 3th time things start looking up. Raise the front end off the ground and see if it will steer like it should and tell us what happens.
