i am not real conversant with the 70, but i know it is much larger than the MT. Isn't there considerable weight differences between the two, or is that irrelevent?

One of my friends put a MT front on a 70. Don't know how he did it, but probably wasn't too hard.

I'm with Mike on this one. I dont see it being a big problem making an adapter plate to get it to bolt up. You have your old front for a pattern right? I think the adapter may require a spacer in between the plate for the 70 and the Dubuque front b/c I think the bolt pattern is a tidge bit closer on the Dubuques. You will have to have enough room to start your bolts.

Who knows you may be able to alter the Dubuque front without an adapter especially if you dont mind welding a plate directly to the frontend

Sounds like a fun task to me! I think all you will need is a torch, grinder, welder and a drill press. With all of those tools you can make a 54 Ford into a 57 Chervolet.

I bet if you ask on the pulling board someone has already done it. There is no replacement for experience.

Maybe with some modifications. I saw a really small one on a 4010 puller once. May of even been a 1010,2010 frt. end ?
