just wondering how many attended the expo this weekend at waterloo. if you didnt you missed a heck of a good show. Jack Cherry an his staff did a great job an should be givin a big thank you, a slap on the back saying how good of a job they done.
it was very nice being undercover most of the time especially during the storms. the food vendors were good, not bad priced for what the event was. i for one would like to see the expo come back to the cattle congress again, if not every time.
in closing i have said it before but thank you to the 2 cyclinder staff for all their hard work it was a great show.
another thing the should be mentioned is that Mr J.R. Hobbs needs to kept in your prays for he is fighting a very serious illness. He has done a great job with 2 cyclinder, an has done a lot of good for the hobby of collecting of tractors in general. johndeeregene

I certainly had a grand time. I was very amused by the tractors with original paint. The ones that really stuck in my mind were the 730 std. 620,630, and two 80's with fantastic orginal finishes. I may try to put together a few photos for all to see here in the near future.

We hauled our 35 A to the Expo. It was our first Expo and got there Tuesday night from Tennessee. We really had a great time and got to meet alot of nice folks. We"re planning on going next year. Yes, JR Hobbs is in our prayers as well.

I thought the expo was a very good one, however I had a tough time hearing in the hippodome during the first day presentations especially the one on Propane Tractors are Easy. I was glad that the other seminar the next day were in the one room. That was a much better environment. I think the 2-cylinder staff need to post more info where the seminars are, and what they cover in more locations and in the magazine to attract people before the event. Also I was a little disappointed in the swap meet because I couldn't find any John Deere 720/730 Diesel parts or V4 pony parts that I needed. Maybe 720/730 Diesels are getting hard to find parts for (NOT SURE EVEN THOUGH I HAVE 70D, 3 (720 D) and (730 D pony start) All with pony motors.

I drove exactly 1008 miles from North Carlina to the expo and had a wonderful time. I did find a few used parts that probably paid for my trip as I thought I would never find them in my lifetime. I also picked up in Ill from a friend of mine a jd 127 corn picker in good shape. It is the first such event I have had the fortune to go to so I felt like a kid at Disneyworld for the first time. I also got to meet Travis Jorde who has helped me out a lot.

The Expo was indeed a sucess. We had a great time looking at all the flawlessly restored tractors and visiting with the exibitors and vendors. The buildings of the Cattle Congress did come in handy with all the rain we had. Congratulations to the Two Cylinder Club on another great show. CalJim
