Can somebody help me how to set up the JD 224T timing? I had to take off the binding unit for repair. Now can't set it up. When I turn baler manualy it stucks in.

Bring plungerhead rearward on compression stroke by turning flywheel CCW,trip measuring wheel to engage knotter,when needles are just stating up in bale chamber and are even with the channels that are in bottom of bale case,the points on face of plungerhead face should be even with needles. If adjustment isn't correct R&R chain that is at rear and recheck timing. HTH,Tx Jim

Do you have an operators manual? If I was with you and had a book I could and would help you . You can't do it with out a book.
