4020 hyd leaking down

I have a 68 synchro 4020,when i raise an implement with the remote cylinder, it will creep down while in use, i loaned my manual and have not gotten it back yet,so can someone tell me where the check valve is located or how to diagnose the problem?

Lift the implement, then disconnect the couplers from the tractor. If it STILL leaks down over time, it's the piston seals on the implement cylinder. If not, it's the SCV, which will have to be rebuilt, or, at the very least, setup correctly.

The hyd cylinder could be the problem as leaking internally. Have you tried reversing(swapping plug-ins). If problem is in SCV then it would need to be removed and taken to a "qualified technician" as they can be tricky to repair. Tx Jim
