I have a late model 4020 gas motor that is stuck. It sat for years with the exhaust uncovered. It had water in the cylinders. I changed motors in the 4020 and got stuck with this motor for part of the payment. A John Deere mechanic told me that JD does not make the block any more. My question is, What do I do with the motor? I tried to sell it, but I got no calls. I'm ready to take it to the scrap yard. Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Matt

Matt. What Part of the country do you live. If you arn't too far away, I'd be interested in that motor if the poisen isn't too high. Post back and let me know where you are and what you need for the motor. I might just be willing to help you get rid of that motor. Thanks Greg H.
