I am considering a conversion to electric start on a 820. Is there an aftermarket kit or bracket available or will I have to fab one up? Also, what starter is best to use?

Karl: If you are thinking 24V Elec, my 720D had a Delco system. It was direct elec when I got it; but all screwed up. The switch was the 12 - 24 splitter. One headlight 12VN the other 12VP, The rear light was either 12N or P and the fuel gauge sender was the offsetting load to the tail light at 12N or P. Once straightened out it was OK. BUT!! it is not a normal 12-24V series parallel system as you find on a big truck. (Left handed metric, if you know what I mean.) Good Luck. best, Yeoman
