Guys, Just bought a 1930 D. I have the parts manual (pc658) and DIR108 instruction book, these were the only ones available from Deere they said. Are there any other ones I need? Also, is the radiator guard and curtain (AD813R / AD890R) reproduced anywhere? Or do you have to get these used.

If JD publications has it back in stock yet the SM116 they numbered it now is handy to have also. That SM116 is "Service Manual for John Deere Tractors and Engines" covering the early D & GP tractors and E engines. It covers a few things better and some things not covered in the DIR108 manual. Also has some handy info and charts in back plus the E engine info if you ever want to restore one of those too.

For the screens and curtains check with advertisers in Green Magazine greenmagazine.com or Two Cylinder magazine twocylinder.com
