I need wrist pin bushings for a 46 styled "A"...local dealer doesn't have a clue ..can anyone help?..thanks ..Kent

I just rebuilt a 48-A and the bushings were available at my local JD Dealer. If the dealer is worth anything, they will be happy to order them for you and it only takes 2 - 3 days. I believe I paid like $28.00 ea.

Find another JD Dealer and be sure to tell them why you are taking your business elsewhere.

I"ve had the same problem with a dealer near me Kansas side of Kansas City. They seem to know next to nothing about any John Deere"s produced before 1980. I went in once for a air filter for a 110 riding mower. They tried to give me one for a L110. Another guy even told me that they weren"t supposed to order an old part for my 38 A when I brought the part number in. I just go to the one a little further away that is an agricultural dealership. They are much more pleasant and always pretty much know what I have and make sure I"m getting the right part for my stuff.

I don't understand about your dealer. All that stuff is in the JD parts database. I would be real disappointed if the dealer I went to acted like that.

Go to another dealer or ask for a parts person that can find the styled A parts catalog and look it up for you! They are still available according to JD parts online. Measurements are there too so you could even make your own.
