AC C88L Spark Plugs

I went to several auto parts stores yesterday with the notion that I was going to buy AC C88L spark plugs. Each store said that these have been replaced by C87L and that they didn't have them in stock. Can someone give me some advise?

I just bought some C88L plugs from NAPA. They had to order them, but it only took 2 days to get them in.

I bought a 50 last summer and it had Autolite plugs but they kept fouling. Oh well, it just needs new ones so that's what I did. Another set of Autolites fouled too. Someone on this board suggested C88L's so I went to NAPA and they had to order a whole box to get my two. I installed them and have never replaed them nor have they ever fouled. If they are not available anymore maybe I should go back to NAPA and get the rest. I have ALWAYS been a big Autolite fan but the C88L made a beliver out of me. Good Luck. If you can't get any let me know and I can send you some.

May be true, but 2 months ago they were available from NAPA here. They were right at $5 apiece. I chose the Autolite 388 $2 but haven't tried them yet. They didn't have either in stock.

Zman, Clooney's right. Contact Brillman. He lives nearby and he fixed me right up on my "B". He's got anything you want in the way of plugs, wires, ignition parts including magneto stuff. Good luck. "The other z-man"
