40V Tractor Rim Repair, Possible?

I recently bought a John Deere 40V and one of the rear rims has a bit of rust damage around the valve stem. The tractor tire still held air for the ride home but for restoring it looks like crap. The metal as started to flake/bend away from the rim. I would say its about 5 inches of damage. I have been unable to locate a replacement rim for it because these tractors are hard to come by. Is there a way or some company that will fix this problem? Who should I contact about it? Any info and ideas would be greatly appreciated. Info pertaining to people with similiar problems and the cost/strategy of getting it fixed would be appreciated. Thanks

You may even be able to buy a new blank rim and reuse your center piece. Miller tire sells some of them.

Where can I find the repair of a wheel rim on the website? I have a MF 2135 with corrosion around the valve stems.

Thanks, pabatcopete

Another used rim should not be too hard to find. It should be a 12.2 X 34 tire. Or actually a 10 x 34 rim. That is the same rim used on models "T" 40, 420 and 430.
Another option would be to weld a plate where the rust is then drill a new valve stem hole in another location.
