I have have my transmission filter off 5 times today ..it keeps leaking. The new rubber washers I bought seem too big..went back to john deere ..they said it was the correct one. I have had this tractor 27 years, and have never had this kind of problem changing the filter. What have I done wrong ? Thanks Guys . tony

I"m guessing the square profile gasket has rolled over partially. It is sometimes a bear to get seated in there. BTDT. Also, take a pick and make sure the groove doesn"t have the old gasket stuck up in there. BTDT too... Bob
