How would one mount a front crank driven hydraulic pump on a 420w? Is it possible? Thanks Jim

I had a hub bolted to the crankshaft pulley on my 430 that would accept a shaft to run a front hydraulic pump. Always thought of running a power steering pump off of it. I think it also has the place for a hand crank but the hub bolted over it in some holes already in the crank pulley. Have seen lots of them around so must not be a problem.

my problem seems to be that the hole where the handcrank fits into the crankshaft pulley has a cast set of ears to engage the handcrank and not any place to bolt a flange to run a stinger shaft, any suggestions Thanks

I think you will find 4 holes through the crankshaft pulley which let you bolt a hub which has splines to drive a hydraulic pump.

Look at the Parts Book for a 420C with 92 loader.
