Did 39A's come with a pto shield? My A has none, I am thinking making one and putting it on for safety. How do they attach?

A PTO shield is listed in PC-674 (2-60) as key #3 on page 31. P/N A1242R - Guard,Powershaft end. Applies to ser. #s 410000 and up.

If they came with one they sure done a good job hiding it in parts catalog as I couldn't find one? Thought they had a shield? The unstyled G had a theaded cap cover but didn't see anything like that for the A in parts book. Check with the other aftermarket vendors or fit one on from a styled A maybe.
