Load Control Arm - Casting Broke

Greetings! Was removing the differential in the 4010 last night and discovered that the load control arm where it bolts into the transmission casting was broken off. Upon further inspection, apparently was broken before as the piece was welded (poorly I might add).

Ok....since I don't use the load control feature on this tractor, is there any reason why I couldn't just NOT reinstall the control arm? I just want to make sure that it won't impact the 3 point from working other than the load control feature. Thoughts?

It won't work without it, just take the housing and get it welded. chris
