Is that even the original paint? I always knew that John Deere cost money but not that much. This auction almost reminds of me of an Ad in Green Magazine for some highcrop for 125k.

Are you jealous; Arthur? (I'll admit I am!)

If you were the lucky owner; would you sell it for "less than the market will bear"? Yeah; RIGHT!

No, I'm not jealous...I've got a 420 w/ a Henry front end loader on it. I'll even give some one a $50,000 Discount over the one on e-bay...later...Art

I don't think it is a scam, E BAY pulled it the first time. I have a way of finding out what the Reserve price is. Place a bid of $1,000,000. When EBAY gets this bid, it will register your bid of $250 over the reserve. This Reserve plus the Minimum advance as allowed by Ebay will become the new top bid. The next thing to do is retract your bid and the Ebay price will return to the legitimate bid. The only thing bad about this scheme is E Bay will not let You bid on other items. So there, if you don't think it a for real Auction, and the minimun bid is a joke, check it out. I do not want to take the chance of loosing my E BAY privilidge. I was bidder 19 when it was first listed, I am out of and have no interest this time around.

It doesnt have to be a scam at all. Just a few people with to much money. I dont understand it myself. Its no different than the 432nd 330 S built, just the serial number. There are people who think that makes it worth more, and mabye it does, just not me. I was at an auction in Yuma AZ where a 630 highcrop that needed restored sold for 150,000 and an 420 highcrop that was painted was about 25-26,000. Keep in mind that these tractors did not run at the time of auction.

All it take is two people with deep pockets. The rest of us dont have to understand it. Just sit back and watch.
