What's the easiest way to move the front axle in to narrow it? It can't be hard to do but thought I'd ask for advice before I start. It's just the regular adjustable front. Thanks for any suggestions.

The knee extensions themselves are easy to move, as Glen stated. The tie-rod ends and sleeves can be a bit more of a challenge - may require some penetrating oil, some hammer whacks and maybe a little heat on the sleeves if they're badly siezed. Once you get them loose and moving, I'd highly recommend pulling the ends completely out of the sleeves, cleaning out the sleeves and then reinstalling everything with generous amounts of anti-sieze. Also make sure you get the knee extension bolts good and tight, and I'd recheck them after some field time.

After jacking up or blocking up safely and bolts removed it should just slide in and put bolts back in if.... the retainer iron brackets are still on it?
