what is the price range on a john deere m, year unknown but in fair condition, not stuck but was running several years ago. tires are up and are fair. thanks.

I bought a 50 M this past spring. It needed one rear rim, the grill was smashed in, the hood was pretty straight but had 6 holes drilled in the side of it, needed seat and backrest,one front tire was no good. The gas tank had 3" of tar like stuff in it, so I rigged up a 1 gal.tank on the side of the hood so I could try to start it before I bought it.I cleaned the plugs and points, put gas and a battery in it and it started up and ran perfect. Paid 750 for it with cultivators and 1 16" bottom plow.

I just bought a 47 "M" that hasn't run in years for $600. It's rough but it will run again. Jim
