hello fellow tractor dudes--
is it much of a job to replace a narrow front
with a wide front on a 4020? are there early,
late model--gas, diesel considerations to the
project? thanks

If wanted for HD loader duty they say some front end off a Case works well or the ones off some later JDs by adapting them.

After you convince someone to sell you the wide front which takes $1300 to 1500 crossing their palm, but salvage yards do sell the wide fronts for just that purpose.

Its also possible to mount heavier wide fronts from later series and other makes (including Schwartz which may be the opposite of heavier) which can take some adapters that are around.
