Finally started engine after a 9 month restoration process. Would like to increase rpm a little during idle. What is simplest way to accomplish? I notice that at full throttle, if I pull throttle rod back, engine rpm's increase. How can I accomplish by adjustment. Thanks for all your previous help.

There should be an idle speed adjustment screw right on the carburetor, with a tension spring on it to keep it wherever it's set, and it adjusting it will change how far open the throttle butterfly is open at idle. Follow your throttle linkag forward to the carburetor and look right there on the throttle shaft where the rod attaches. Screwing the screw in slightly should increase idle speed.
