Hello. Just wondering if anybody has come across a functional lighting schematic for a JD 4440. I am redoing my wiring and one of these would defintely help. Thanks.

We had a real nut roll on the elec system on the neighbor's 4240. Went to the dealer and parused the library in the shop and the service manager copied the diagrams we wanted. Course the neighbor runs 4 deer tractors, combine and grain wagons.

jdparts will show only a crude illustration of the wiring harness layout.

The factory shop manual will have HUGE color-coded fold-out wiring diagrams.

A helpful dealer will copy the shop manual diagram for you, or you can get your own shop manual by calling Deere Techpubs @1-800-522-7448.

(I have a 4430 factory shop manual, but it wouldn't help you, 'cause the "40" series has relays to power the lights, taking the load off of the light switch.)
