Dad's old tractor the 1926 "D" has some people interested in buying it but not real sure of value before mom gives it away whats it worth it runs real good solid flywheel has always been kept indoors has rubber/wheels weled on org. steels also have a set of org wide steels. Platform is orginal wood, oil pressure gage still works used tractor to haul 16' disk before its like nothings back there kept oil changed but it has never been restored.Dad rebuilt orginal carb. and mag.

Good thing you asked what it's worth. I know of way too many stories like this where some vulture came along and stole the family tractor for a couple hundred bucks. These kind of guys aren't as common as they used to be but there are still a few around. A lot of them were tractor jockeys and turned around and resold the tractor for a 500% profit. Sounds like you have a very desirable Model D. If you do sell it,the buyer should be willing to pay what it's worth, if not someone else will.

before you sell or even offer to someone Post the serial # or most of the serial # ( example 387xx)on this site or rummeys.a 26 D could be worth from $2500 to $15000 depending on condition number of original parts and serial #.Paul

If it is as nice and original as you say maybe $5000. But unless Mom really needs the money I would keep it in the family.

First off are you sure you want to let it go ?

Second check the serial number to make sure it is not a spoker model. If it is a factory keyed solid fylwheel model then you may get around $3500 to $4500 or even more if you MUST sell it.
