I'm looking for the shaft seal and carbon washer for the older Johnson water pumps that would have fit on an A or G. Thanks, Allen

Most industrial bearing supply places can match up pump seals. motionindustries.com , mcmaster.com , grainger.com , bearingplace.com

Already tried that. The web sites you reference are for modern seals, etc. This pump is over 50 years old and there is nothing modern that will match up. Some are close, but would require machining of the pump body to make a nonspecific seal work. I'm told there is a vendor making the Johnson seals but I have not found them.

Also tried Lloyd in MN. Also tried BMD in IA.

I haven't tried this one in Houston before unless it's one that was there before and changed names again? The link doesn't work for rctractorwaterpumps.com any longer? Have you tried Detwilers also ?

I called BMD and they said they don't reman anymore. They buy their rebuilds from someone else and wouldn't tell me where. In fact, A&I has bought out BMD. They were horribly rude to me and got the Johnson mixed up with the John Deere. Very technically incompetent. Very bad expereince.

Thanks for all the leads! I'll try them.
