Are the fenders specific to the 40V tractor? Looking to replace the ones on my current restoration project but dont know where to find them. It looks as if the fender is part of the footstep assembly on my tractor but I am usure whether that is authentic or a custom job that the farmer did. Any info greatly appreciated. Also, I am in need of one rear 34 inch 9-bolt rim. Thanks

That fender-footrest assembly does look like a farmer custom job. But its not, that is original. The 40S and 40W has a setup similar to that, but don"t know if they are the same as a V or not.

Since my previous post, I got out the 40 parts book and it shows all those fender assemblys to be different ie: 40S 40W 40T and 40V are all a different part number. However it might still be possible to switch and swap some parts. Those footrests are welded to the fenders and you might be able to weld replacements from other models.
